Friday 30th April - It's The Final Countdown!!!

This is it. Only a few more lines and then it's over. BEDA will be done and we can never speak of it again.

Of course i'm joking, I have loved doing BEDA even if some days I have come up with shite to talk about.

I think I have spoke about some midly interesting thimngs and tried to reaise a bit of debate.

I really hope you have all enjoyed it. Technically, it's still BEDA till midnight. So, there is only a few hours left.... It's the final countdown.

New Video: Wednesday- No Ideas

Wednesday 28th April - Its not love, its insanity

The whole idea behind this blog post is this video by Tom Milsom.
The title is the name of one of the songs i have wrote and you can see it on my bandcamp.

Love. What is it really?

Scientifically it's just a mix up of chemicals in the brain. A rush of emotions in out head that make us feel this unprecedented care for another human being. But is that really love. Because if you boil it down, it's just us. The human race calling out and trying to find somebody else to be a 'partner' with in this world. Animals have partners and mates but do they fall in love, or is it just instinct?

Does that mean love, in its simple form, is just a instinct a primal feeling of needed to be with somebody forever. I don't think so, the cavemen, our earliest ancestors, did they feel love? They lived on the primal instincts alone but did they have love? Did they just see the feeling of love as a mating process just like animals. Is that what love is, is love just an urge to meet somebody and mate, a survival instinct that started all those years ago?

In my opinion and you might think I'm wrong but I think love is whatever you want it to be. It's not just a chemical rush or an instinct, or a primal urge for survival. I think that love is whatever we want it to be. In the last few hundred years love has became more prominent in our lives and therefore we have changed and altered it. Love is different for everyone, we all want different things from it and so we should. We made this emotion, we named it love and we all love by it. Whether we admit it or not is a different thing. But everyone wants love, for one reason or another...

Woah, that got a bit deep didn't it. i wrote that earlier today in school whilst in my free listening to music. I would 'love' to know what you think about this or if you think I am just over thinking it?

Tuesday 27th April - Woah

Today has been a very eventful and both good and bad day for many reasons.

Would just like to say Happy Birthday to Emily who is 16 today and is one of my best friends

Today i was thinking amount the moments in your life when you actually say 'woah'. That massive intake of breath when you are so surprised there is nothing else you can do.
The two main moments I can think when this has happened was Doctor Who in Cardiff when I went to the studios and when I was at the Zone. There have been other moments for good and bad reasons, but those are the moments that you remember.

Monday 26th April - Sorry guys :)

I was very bust this weekend hence no videos and last nigth I was looking after my mum as she wasn't very well.

But I do have something to talk about today and that thing is formspring.

I have a hater on formspring.

And they are saying I am trying to be charlie. They obviously haven't read my blog post from before about me explaining Charlie as my main influence.

But this post is not just a rant, it's a happy post :)

I am very happy at the moment, no matter who is posting stupid formspring questions trying to insult me

Friday 23rd April - St George's Day

Today is St George's Day and it's not really that much of a big deal for people in this country and people hate that it isn't.
People don't celebrate St Georges day but why? I think it's for the simple reason that English people can't be bothered. The Irish mad etheir patron saint day into a massive celebration, so much that even the English celebrate it. But we didn't, we have never been bothered to make it into a party. That's why I think we don't celebrate it.

New Video: Announcement for next week

Friday 23rd April - Only One Week Left. So lets make it good...

BEDA is now nearly over. One week today is the last day of BEDA so next weej I will be doing something different to mark the end of this month. I will still be posting a blog everyday on here but I will also post a video. I will be ending BEDA and doing VEDTLWA too. (Vlog Every Day in The Last Week of April)

So From tomorrow there will be a blog and a vlog together every day :)

Then on the last day. Friday 30th April I will be doing a big post summarising the month, along with a video.

Thursday 22nd April - Today's post

Ok people, this is the plan.

1st Post- Was about hair, planning and me being angry at a certain youtuber
2nd post- Was my new video 'Red Hair Time' Hope you like it as i think it is one of my best
3rd Post- This one, telling you what today's plan is and about that youtuber
4th Post- Will be later tonight. It's time to get political

Today is a busy day and I just felt like this blog needed a bit of attention and tbh BEDA is nearly over and I wanna make sure that this blog carries on after it :)

Now, onto that youtuber...
I say that I am angry at him but really i'm not. His name is James and you all know who is, he is my best mate (Well one of them) and he was doing VEDA and did it successfully 20 days and then yesterday he forgot and then today he announced he was stoppin Veda, which i was sad and angry about but i can understand because he has exams and he needs to focus on them. But i am doing the opposite. I am going to be making more youtube videos over the next weeks and months :)

So I hope you all enjoy them :)

Coming to this blog later tonight, it gets political, and this time it's personal (Its not. The debate discussion with me :)

Yesterday was a crap post and I know it. But i was reall excited aboiut my hair and by the time it wasd done it was egtting late so their as no time for a longer post. This is the first of a few posts today as I have a few things i wanna talk about. So look out for the other posts later today.
In case any of you are wondering I still love my red/purple hair and everyone seems to like it. So all is good :)

Tuesday 20th April - Ukulele

I have a ukulele! Yes i have now got my own, green Mahalo ukulele with carry case and free tiger red kazoo. I love it xD Need to learn how to tune and play it but at the moment i just love having it. I was going to talk about a similar thing to yesterday for today's blog post but instead i'm going to be learning ukulele :)

Blog News: New Banner

Just a point before tomorrow

After all the recent posts and talk about people wanting money and fame out of youtube it has made me think about why I really do any of this stuff.

Why do i run this blog/website:
Honestly, its something for me to do when I am bored and I enjoy making posts. Not the normal boring posts where I natter on but posts about something, posts that have a point to them. But really it's to put everything I do in one place, my videos and my twitter and my graphics and music all together which brings me onto the next thing...

All the creative stuff:
I can see how to some people I seem to be trying to become the next Charlie or Alex by making vlogs, doing a blog, have dailybooth and now making music but I really want to tell yuo that I'm not. Well, not directly. I love making my vlogs and as i just explained my blog. I have had the other sites for ages and the music is just a new thing I am trying out. The reason behind all these things is Alex and Charlie by i am not trying to be them, I am just inspired by them As cheesy as it sounds there are a few people who are, what I would call my idols and Alex and Charlie are two of them, as well as Tom Milsom and Johnny Durham. I only 'copy' what they do because i am inspired by them. All of there music and their youtube videos are what have made me want to do the same things.

This post may seem very self indulgent but that is not what i want it to be like. I decided to write this post because in the next few days i want to go back over the point of the reasons behind some peoples youtube videos and without the post I was worried that I would seem to be being hypocritical talking about this issue when I look like I am too trying to become youtube famous.

As a final point, I am doing these things to enjoy them and to have a record of the things I have done in my teenage life in however many years time. I, of course would love to make money from these things but that comes seconday.

And with that out of the way, prepare for a big debate over the next few days :)

Yesterday i was talking about youtube fame and corporate youtubers (See the original post Here...) and it seems there is a lot of talk about this right now on the internet. So if you have an opinion on this issue or you want to see what other people think, these are the places for you to go...

Charlie McDonnell (Charlieissocoollike) made a video about fame and spoke about the idea of youtube fame and whether people go onto youtube looking for it. You can see the video Here...

The original blog post that made me want to talk about this issue was from Alex Day (Nerimon) who was speaking about corporate youtubers and the reason behind why people are on youtube. You can see that Here...

Monday 19th April - Last day of the holiday

It is a scary day for any person in education. The last day of the holidays, especially if you are going back to moaning teachers and intense exam revision and then exams. But this holiday has been a lot of fun and a good time for me tbh.

I have got a lot of personal things sorted out in my head and I have started doing what I have wanted to for ages which is share the stuff I do with more people. I have started to fo my own music and hopefuly brought an instrument which i will be able to learn and play. I have decided what I am going to do for most eventualities at the end of this year, although i knwo which one is most likley.

As much fun as this holiday has been, i think its a good thing that I will have work to do from know on because it will focus me and what I need is focus. This blog, my music and everything else I do will become second to my work and I hope you can all see why I am doing that. But in no way is this the end, it's only the beginning...

Sunday 18th April - Youtube, just for fun or a buisiness

This was an issue raised on Alex Day's blog about whether there are such thing as 'corporate' youtubers. Meaning that there are youtubers whose sole aim is to use the site to make money. And i think its an interesting debate because there are examples for both sides of the arguments.

There is no way that anyone can say that some people don't use just for the money. Some people go into making youtube videos knowing about the partnership scheme and knowing that they can make money from it. When i started making my youtube vids for my blog and I started watching Charlie and Alex's video I didn't know anything about the partnership scheme and I was just making the videos for fun. I am not going to lie in this blog because that's not right because when i found out about the partnership scheme I thought that I would really wanna get onto it so that I could make money and get a bigger audience that would enjoy my videos. I am still making videos and I still enjoy making them and I would still love to make money from the partnership scheme but does that make me a corporate youtuber?

Would like to know what you all think about this?

Wow! That was an amazing episode of Doctor Who. I love the doctor and Amy even more every episode and I love the new Daleks. I actually felt bad for the old Daleks :'( but they were evil.
More chnage but it is for the good :)

Saturday 17th April - Double post today

After last nights fail of a blog post as i had to put it up in a minute. Today, as a kind of a punishment, i will be doing two blog post. A pre doctor who post, this one, and a post doctor who post later on.

For this blof post I wanna talk about what you do with yuor free time. Cause now that it is nearly the end of the holidays I realise how much free time I have wasted in the last two and a half weeks. I have spent most the holiday here, in my living room on this computer. Very sad. When really i should have been out with my mates more, no being sad.

ok, welcome back. So yeah i'm writing music and this morning i have a chorus and a verse for my second song. I even recorded a melody, which was badly drummed and whistled by me. So in conclusion so farmy music is bad singing over das drumming and bad whistling. God i know how to sell it to people :)


Might do another blog post later tonight just for the hell of it, then again. Maybe not :P

Wednesday 14th April - How to train your dragon

I went to see How to train your dragon today and it was, ah-may-zing. Yeah it was a very good film and the 3D was actually quite good :)

In more interesting news, as i said in my previous post, the Creative stuffs page is up. And i have officialy written one full song and have about three half done ones. I should really be doing my art and maybe even finishing my new story.

I am planning on making a little video for the different pages as an intro. My youtube videos are going ok and i will be recording the next in my 'Why I love youtube' Series tomorrow :)

Monday 12th April - Writing ideas

If you don't write stories then this blog post may be very boring but oh well.

As you know if you follow this blog, i write lots of stuff, such as my stories. And i always find it hard to start the writing process. I find it hard to get the story started and still think ahead to the end of the story. Thing is, once I am writing a story the different ideas are going round in my head all day. Different things in the story, at completly different times in the stoyr come to me whenever and i think them up in my head but hardly ever write them down and from then on it is easy to keep going through the story but that first chapter or two is the hardest. Getting the initial spark of inspiration is the hardest part and even if i can think of a good start if i can see how the story will progress  or how it will eventually end.

That all made no sense whatsoever. Jeez i talk shite...

Anyway it was a more detailed post. I have news for you all tomorrow about some other things i have been writing...

Saturday 10th April - A great night and a disappointed Dean

Last night was really good. Stephen and Alex stayed at mine, we played pokemon, ate pizza and watched films. Good times. However i am not in the mood to blog today for a simple reason, Doctor Who. I will say more in my review video in the week but i was very disappointed with the episode :/

Friday 9th April - Birthdays and Birmingham

Today had been a busy day.

First of all I would like to say Happy Birthday to Gary and Cat whose birthday's it is today:) Hope you both had a nice day

Now, today i have been in Birmingham with Ste and Alex. Ste is a friend of mine and has been since the start of primary school and I see him on most weekends so today was just another day out with him. But Alex is my cousin who lived with me for 5 years and left just over a year ago.  Since he moved out I had only seen him once before today and that was like last summer. But today i saw him again and it was just like it was when me him and Ste used to go out all those years ago, except we are all a lot older now. After today I plan to make sure it isn't another 8 months before I see him again as today has been so funny. So in conclusion this whole post is dedicated to Ste and Alex. Two greats :)

Wednesday 7th April - One week in

This is my 7th post and therefore the 7th day of my BEDA challenge. One week and i have already had a 'fail post' and some very pointless posts. i spent all day trying to put off writing this as i had no idea what the hell to put. But i have came up with an idea. I am going to be lazy and just post the first paragraph of my new story, Scarlet Sunbeams.

"Ouch!" The doctor yelled as he placed his finger in his mouth. "That is really hot!" He laughed as he stepped away from the orange glow of the tardis console. "Doctor?" Amy smiled as she walked up the steps towards the console, "I touched the console and it burnt me" The doctor smiled childishly. Amy laughed and walked around the console, admiring the different things attached to the amber center. "So, Amelia Pond. Anywhere in time and space, where do you want to go?" The doctor smiled as he walked around the console, peering around the central pillar at his new companion. Amy just laughed and looked up at the immense ceiling of the Tardis. "Well, you said anywhere, so an alien world. And you said any when, so the future" Amy grinned as she leaned forward on the console over towards The Doctor." (Doctor Who: Scarlet Sunbeams)

New Video: Plans to this channel

Tuesday 6th April - A day long post

Today i have updated this post throughout the day so that not only you get a longer post today but so that it is different to all the other posts so far. So here is s day long post:

02.54 AM: Just had the thought to update this post all day and then post at the end of the day so i stopped playing pokemon for a bit and write this. Am currently with Stephen, who is also playing pokemon while we listen to Charlie McDonnell. I really fancy a chinese :/ Doubt there are any open at this time of the day/night/morning. Not really that tired yet, may just stay up all night.

12.07 PM: Got up and came straight on here. Watched doctor who again last night. I still love that episode. Need to get some food, and quick.

16:40 PM: Just made a new youtube video. Kept messing it up and Stephen wasn't halping. Just starting to realised that doing today's blog like this may be a bad idea because it shows how little i actually do with my day. Gonna write a few more chapters of my story now.

19:13 PM: Just posted a new chapter. Not my best as i am tired and not really in the mood to write that much. Now realise this was a bad idea.

Ok, so its now 19:15 PM and i have chosen to give up on this idea and label it a 'Fail Post', trust me there will be a lot of these on this blog so lets just wipe if off forever. A new post after this one will have my new video on it

Monday 5th April - What i do with my time

Hello again,
I am a geek. The reason for that is that i spent most of last night writing the first 10 chapters of my new story.
The reason for this is that i have a lot of spare time during the holidays and is also why I have completed my new pokemon game already. This is also the reason why today i have been planning the next 3 videos that i plan to make on my youtube channel (Amd their good)

Only a short blog today as i wanna get back to writing. I promise you will get a longer post tomorrow :)

Sunday 4th April - The Doctor Will See You Now

OMG!
What an amazing episode of Doctor Who. It lived up to every expectation i had of this episode and i already love the eleventh doctor and Amy Pond. There are a few things i wasn't sure about such as the titles and the new theme tune but i can live with them. I don't wanna say too much about it on here as i am making a video about it later today or in the week so i'll say what i think then.
But Happy Easter :)

Saturday 3rd April - Geronimo!

Yay! The day has come. After it being revevaled that Matt Smith would play the 11th Doctor back on 3rd January 2009 and now 15 months later it is finally time for his first episode as the doctor, 'The Eleventh Hour'. I have been so excited about this for, well 15 months but now its is actually going to air.
I have read a lot about the episode, seen lots of interview but i reall have no idea what happens in the episode. There is a post up on the internet with the 'full' details of what happens and i refuse to read it as i want to watch the episode without knowing what is going to happen.
What do you all think, is it better to know what is going to happen via spoilers or to enjoy an episode with no knowledge of what is going to happen.

Friday 2nd April - To edit, or not to edit?

Hello, again.
Second day and i am sitting here wondering what to write about. I could do a whole blog about who excited I am about doctor who but i think i'll save that one for tomorrow. I could post the video that i filmed last night, but it was crap and will never be uploaded to youtube, ever. Ah, ha! An idea!

I've been making vlog now for the last few months and at first i just recorded them in one long recording and didn't do any editing. Now, i like to do some editing on there but no where near as much as i could do. But do more edits make a better video. I mean if i can do my whole vlog in one recording, not make any mistakes and make it flow. Does that make it a good video, or do videos need edits and jump cuts to make them 'look' well made.

I am working really hard on making the two video series i am making on youtube to make them be good but also 'look' good and in my mind that meand i'm going to be spending alot of times cutting my videos together, but do I need to?

Wow, did i just get through another post, another day of April passed with a 'ok' length post, i think i did!

This weekend is officialy Doctor Who weekend so if you dn't like the show you will hate this weekends posts.

Thursday 1st April - Easter Holidays

Hello again and welcome to the start of 'Blog Everyday in April' by the end of this month you are all going to be sick of reading this and you probably just won't bother but oh well lets start as we mean to go on.

I was thinking of putting and april fools post up today but i knew i wouldn't be up in time, before noon that is. The reason for me not being up before noon is simple. Its the Easter holidays which means i can stay up as late as i like and go to bed whenever i like.

As much as i love the Easter holidays i also hate them ever to slightly. You spend the last two weeks of school/sixth form counting down the days till you are on Easter break and then as soon as it starts, e.g. today, you are bored as hell.

So,l mtoday i am just at home with no money and bored as hell, at least i have this blog to keep me occupied.

Just realised how long this blog has been and it getting longer. Argh! I think i may run out of things to blog about by tomorrow.

Yesterday i went to see Kick-Ass, which is an amazing film and it inspired me to start writing again. I have always loved writing my own original stories and I'm taking this Easter holiday as a chanve to write a new one. So starting as soon as i finish this blog i will be writing my new story *excited*

So that's all for today, a very long first post of the month but don't get your hopes up they won't all be this long. Some days i think they may end up just being a single word.
